Wow, it’s been four weeks, already. I have hit the next target of getting below the 20st marker. This month, I have lost 4.25lbs (1.93kg), which sees me at 19st 10.25lbs (125.3kg.) Looking at the data, I have made it to my main point and have been pondering the idea of growing muscle, rather than losing weight. Chatting, I decided that I want to complete this year’s chart, before I move on to the next core target. I am intrigued to see what weight I will lose by the time I get to the 12th data recording.

As always, the diet is the key. It sets my up to the right levels, and works better than I could have imagined. Steph’s consistent grip on new, healthy, alternatives to fatty options, is the bedrock of my success. You can’t beat the love and support of someone else! One of two main muscle climbs, this month, have been the ability to lift the 50kg dumb-bell, which is a shockingly heavy lump of metal and rubber. The other is being able to lift out of the swimming pool without any kicking. I simply place my hands on the edge and lift my body up for my knee to reach onto the side. I haven’t been able to do that for MANY years. On a small note, I am able to pull half-way up on the overhead bars at the gym. Not the best, but another first in many years! That’s enough, for now. The triathlon is drawing ever closer, and I feel that as long as my back holds out, I will manage it…even the run…maybe?
