I decided that I should record the calories, again, for this month. I have found that my heart health has increased, and for the first three weeks, I was fighting to get my heart-rate up. It is only now that I can really see why athletes follow their rates, closely. Even though I have been running to burn, I am very aware that I need to keep the calories balanced, and in some way, raised a little. The trouble is, that by this point in time, my head tells me that I need to continue losing weight, but that is not how it needs to be. There is a fine line between healthy and unhealthy when you reach this time in the active journey. This month has seen a small 1lb (0.5kg) loss. This is likely down to muscle growth. Certainly in my legs. I now weigh in at 17st 8lbs (112.5kg.)

The chart shows the calories that have been consumed and burnt, again, by the end of this week, I found that I have burned a significant amount, compared to the other weeks. For the future, I am doing a 5K run in Staffordshire, on 23rd, so that will be great. I have now done two runs that exceed 10k, but I decided that I would only do the 5k, for this one. I wanted to ‘enjoy’ not ‘endure.’ Still, it’s a cute, late Autumn, run. I wouldn’t mind getting one in around Christmas. I would like to note how surreal a post 10k run, is. It seems odd to me that my body can withstand running for 88 minutes, straight. I do not stop, still! Running for thirty seconds was off the menu for all my life, then boom, 2025 changes that!
