I am so taken by the fact that I can run, now, I am even looking at Running magazines! I was reading an article in Runner’s World with Romesh Ranganathan. He spoke about how he is really lazy but has found solace in keeping fit by jogging along. He wants to be an ambassador for non-runners, getting them up and showing them how good it is. I was quite taken by this and have even more respect for him, beyond what I already had, of course! Looking at the data from the three screenshots, below, you can see the changes in heart-rate, cadence and pace.

I am getting better and have now made a single run of 4.8km, a hair off the 5km I am aiming for. I did manage to do 5.35km over two runs, at the weekend, which I am pleased with. I just want to share this onto this blog, and want to say that what Romesh had to say, was so true! You do make new strides and make better times and distances. When you do, you want to show it off, even if nobody else really cares. It’s amazing and I am so glad that I have found it. It’s thinking time, even if I am breathing heavily as I go. Happy times!
