The May Update – Health and Fitness

If you read last Wednesday’s triathlon update, then it is now surprise what really mattered, in the last month. Having spent the week leading up to the event, building my carbs and keeping my fitness in check, it was a great success and something to be proud of. I was happy to not come last, but more still, just to be able to complete it. There was a build of anxiety, but as is necessary with it, you have to push through.

A superb ride!

My weight is showing to be 19st 1.5lbs (123.1kg.) This is a loss of 4.75lbs (2.2kg.) I am amazed at how the loss is still very much at a steady rate, and is showing no sign of slowing down. I am definitely feeling stronger, and the completion of my first Super-Sprint is certainly driving me to the next. Still, I am now at the time I need to choose my next steps. Having thought about it, I am moving onto the side of the last month bringing me into the 18s, and then settling my weight and concentrating on muscle growth and strength of core.

Next month will be the twelfth data record for my weight and I will summarise the year in the update. I said from the beginning that I wanted to make it into the 18s, with 18.5st being the main aim. Just getting into the sub-20s is a miracle, as my muscle growth often yo-yos the outcomes. Over the last eleven months, it has happens a total of ‘zero’ times. That great, and I am looking forward to shifting my focus, after the next recording. Take care, and speak soon!

Figures correct as of 11th May ‘2025.
