After the last one of these, I had to have this one, too. Just like then, I hope more will appear, as they offer younger builders the chance to enjoy the Botanicals range, without the complicated, and fiddly, builds of the larger plants. They also offer a happy time, their faces are cute and bubbly! What more can you ask for? As we look at the box, it is very much similar to the first set. It’s almost a copy, apart from the titling and the set build.
This opens, as expected. The booklets are numbered to each bag, so that you could easily share this between two builders, on a wet day. It has pappy-bags, so that’s pleasing, and the first thing you really notice, is the colours that spread over your work surface. The whole build is like the first set, it uses a Brickheadz style of offset and has information regarding the plants that you are adding to them. There is, once again, a root placed on each plant, allowing for you to change other plants to other ones. So, all four could be mixed up, if you so choose to. I would say this is a great gift, and would be well recieved!
Like the last, I love this, it’s a cute display piece. Don’t expect much of play, but with the exchanging of plants, I guess it allows for a little bit of personalisation. There is the usual small parts to assemble, but nothing on the large scale of standard sets, so you can enjoy it regardless of age…within the range, of course! It’s a fab set, and the box very much shows you what is on offer. I do believe that if you built the Happy Plants, then this is a must to go with them. The rocking comes from the shaping that sees the green pot rocking forwards to backwards, and the pink one, side-to-side. It’s a joy, and I just adore them!
