The April ’26 Update – Health and Fitness

The Cheshire Triathlon is getting ever closer, and I have stepped up my training. As I write this, the weekend of weighing will see me run a 5k for the Staffordshire Air Ambulance, this Sunday. It also sees the change of my data and a new way to look after my growth. Also new to the table is a better 5k and 10k time. I have now managed to get my 10k street run down to, below, sixty-five minutes. I also now find that most of my kilometres have dropped to below seven minutes per.

The harsh reality is that I have worked hard to keep the extra burn, down…if you’ve noticed…that still hasn’t worked well. I now need extra calories to grow, but it is proving to be a difficult process. I have continued to swim 1500k, rather than the old 1k. My timings for this has also improved over the 100m steps, in all, it’s been a step up, but I am in need of more! Let’s see how the run and triathlon do for me. By the next post, I will be letting all know.

This month’s table shows some additional burn, but is far more stable than previous times. I have weighed in at an extra 1.5lbs (0.7kg.) I do believe that I have now found my plateau weight, sitting in the mid 16 stone, area. It looks like I’m set to be around 104-110kg, now. Until next month…when there shall be much to say!
